Regional and Specialized Agencies

Welcome to the Regional and Specialized Agencies of CAHSMUN 2009. This year, we offer agencies such as the UN Security Council, ASEAN +3, North Atlantic Council. In addition, for the first time ever, we will be offering two historical committees, the Historical US Cabinet of 1846 and the Historical Mexican Cabinet of 1846. While the General Assemblies take on a more global outlook on issues, Regional and Specialized Agencies will explore more focused topics revolving around high tension and often very delicate situations. The Regional and Specialized Agencies are tougher committees and require a higher level of self-motivation to excel; therefore, generally, more experienced MUNers can be found in these committees.
