The Canadian High School Model United Nations (CAHSMUN) is the largest conference of its kind in western Canada. CAHSMUN aims to bring together high school students from all over the country and the globe to further and broaden their experience and understanding of global conflicts and today’s international issues through the reinforcement of diplomacy and public speaking, professional proposal writing and critical thinking skills. Over 500 from over 45 high schools in British Columbia and throughout Canada participated in last year’s conference. Now entering its eight eighth year, CAHSMUN hopes to surpass that number by becoming a national and international conference by inviting students from across Canada and across the world such that more youth students are given the chance to grasp and capture the essence of the agenda of the United Nations.

The eighth session of the Canadian High Schools Model United Nations conference will take place from March 2nd to 4th at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre in downtown Vancouver. Government officials and representatives from various international organizations will be present at the conference to welcome and guide delegates as they engage in life-learning experiences. This year, we are expecting over 600 participants from around the world to come together and engage in a weekend of debate and discussion that will shape their career possibilities and future endeavours as global citizens as well as prepare them for the intricacies of international affairs.

In order for CAHSMUN to maintain its success and growth potential, we need your support. Please find enclosed an event description, outlines of various levels of sponsorship and their related recognition benefits. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
