United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
The United Nations Development Programme is the organization responsible for improving the standard of living across the globe, particularly in developing nations, where the challenges of global and national development are most prominent. As one of the most well-known organs of the United Nations, the primary goal of the UNDP is the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals that cover such areas as poverty, healthcare, democracy, and the environment. In many cases, UNDP provides the necessary foreign aid and international support that developing countries need to pursue development.
